The Jewels of Time Series

When is the next Jewels of Time book coming out?
That’s a good question. I have other books in the writing queue that will have to come first, but I would like to write more of these at some point. Hegarty is such a fun character to write and I know the other Jewels of Kindonan have ended up in some interesting hands. I’m as curious to know whose hands as my readers are!

What is the reading order for the Jewels of Time books?
Sapphire Dream
Amethyst Destiny
-
Can the Jewels of Time books be read in any order?
While the books are stand alones, they should be should be read in order, if at all possible, since reading them in reverse order will give away some of the spoilers. The proper order: Sapphire Dream, then Amethyst Destiny.

Who is Pamela Montgomerie?
Pamela Montgomerie is the pseudonym I took for my time travels back in 2007 when I first sold them to Berkley Sensation. After struggling to make my first sale, as many authors do, I sold to three publishers—Avon, Berkley, and Harlequin—very quickly, the first two almost simultaneously. My editors didn’t like the idea of having to schedule their Pamela Palmer books around one another, so requested I take a second name. Since the time travels are primarily historical set, and the other series were contemporary paranormals, it made sense for the Berkley books—Sapphire Dream and Amethyst Destiny to get the pseudonym. I was fine with it at the time, and chose a family name from my Scottish ancestors—Montgomerie. But being two people at once is just as hard and confusing as it sounds. And now that the books are back in my hands, I’m rereleasing them under my primary name, Pamela Palmer.

Have the Jewels of Time books been published before?
Yes. I originally sold Sapphire Dream and Amethyst Destiny to Berkley Sensation in 2007. The books were released in 2009 and 2010, respectively, under the pseudonym Pamela Montgomerie. In 2013, Berkley gave me the rights back to both books and I’ve since thoroughly revised them and rereleased them with brand new covers under my Palmer name.
