Hmmmm Maybe today I will go to borders and get those two books!!! If I play my cards right, He wont know that I got them..lol Or maybe they will come with my books... ha ha NO KIDDING!!!
seriously.. I am stuck home today, and Not a dang thing to do, I hate sitting home, I do it enough, but If I want to sleep in my bed I am smart to stick home and do nothing...lol besides I cant really afford to be buying more books,, Not that that has stopped me before!! LMBO!!!!
So....................we'll see!! I could use a good trip to Borders!! WITHOUT My book hungry daughter, for once,, It would be nice to leave the store without having a child behind me throwing fits and crying.. OH Boy!!
That girl would drain me dry buying books, and I feel horrible not buying her books when she loves to read,,, But man I cant afford both her and I.. That sounded bad!! I buy her books, just not every time we go.. She is into the Seekers set.. And I guess the next set to go with those are Warriors...
Her Grandpa- when she sees him- loves to buy her books, He told her I will buy you all the books you want as long as you will read them.. LOL so she is always bugging me to go to Gpa's house, but hasnt really spent alot of time with him over the years, we had a falling out.... SO, Its just been sporadical visits, and she is afraid of his old house so she spends the night, but calls or texts me all night long.. UGH!! I had to turn her cell off for a while... Maily because her brother felt he HAD to have a cell too, and He doesnt know the meaning of You cant do that>> it costs extra money!! GEEZ KIDS!!! No wonder my face is falling apart and I am wrinkling!!
I always wished that my son would be 18, so he could find his own life and get his own place and all that, but he will not be getting his own place or own life, ever... well without paying someone to help him take care of himself... SO I wished my life away to get him to 18.. what was I thinking???
My daughters birthday is coming up too, She will be 11 on Dec 2nd, I guess I ought to get ahold of her Gpa, he always asks me what she would like and tell him she wants the next book in the Warriors set.. Number 6.... The silly thing is, She is always bugging me to read her books, cuz they are "SOOOO GOOOD !!!" and they are for tweens, not adults, I try and explain the difference, she doesnt quite understand, She asks if she can read mine, and I am like NOPE!! they are for adults only.. Kids shouldnt read them.. Too much sex talk.. even some just have the mention of men and their parts.. She would be scarred for life...lol Ha!
Oh boy, I guess I have rambled enough...lol
I would totally love If I could shift into someone different, someone skinnier, Or better yet, someone in better shape, and with NO pain!!! that would be so dang awesome!!! Ha Ha Ha!!!

why dont you just bring her to the library, they are all free there, I love the library though as I have said I cant get any of Pamela's books there, I would buy books if it was a choice between me eating or reading lol
That would be my luxury item on a desert island, books you can read over again.
Its so good your daughter loves books, my oldest does too, she is forever reading, her faves are the goosebumps books and horrible science/histories books. I would rather her throw a fit over books than boys or toys lol
Dont dent yourself the pleasure of reading, it broadens the mind and keeps us sane xx

I agree.. Shelby loves books, alot of what she asked for for xmas was books.. Its cool! My son doesnt read much, he doesnt have the patience for it. Our library here has nothing of any interest to me, I have tried to even find the mildest of mild love stories and paranormal romance books there and they have nothing... I agree on the fit throwing too. It would be better that she throw a fit over a book than a boy, I am NOT ready for the boy stuff... although it does come up a tiny bit.. UGH!! I dont let things hold me back from reading, If I want to buy a book I buy one, or two or five.. Ha ha.. John buys what he wants, so I dont let him bother me.. LMBO!!
I have to be careful what she reads and watches on tv though, she tends to have nightmares, over anything.... Its crazy...lol Otherwise she reads everything and anything, She really loves books on dogs. I think for the moment she wants to be a vet.. Or some type of animal trainer.. we'll see what it changes to in a month..

Our library is like that. They won't carry any paperbacks. Luckily, in the town next to us we can use their library and they get everything.

me too!!! BUT... In that sense, I guess its good too, because that gives me an excuse to go out and BUY more books rather than borrow them, so our favorite authors can tack one or two more books onto their millions they sell.. Ha ha so thats a good thing!!! :D :D
